Hang 10 Dinners bring together hundreds of students, alumni, faculty, and staff in a series of small dinner parties to help keep the Pepperdine Family strong. This unique program allows for a time of family history to be shared and storytelling to take place. Traditions can be passed on and multiple generations of Waves can connect over their Pepperdine experiences.
The dinner program is quite simple: Alumni host dinners in their homes for up to 10 students. They can even invite a favorite faculty or staff member to join them. Students then sign up to attend a dinner. For each dinner, a guest list is assembled based on common interests or qualities and is sent to each participant. The number of dinners in the series, and therefore the number of seats available to students, is dependent on the number of alumni hosts who volunteer.
Dinners may vary from casual buffets in the apartments of young alumni to formal affairs in the dining rooms of those more "seasoned" alumni. Whether a themed dinner in your favorite Wave attire or an elegant evening with china and crystal, fun will be had by all!
