Pie with the Pi Phis
Benefiting Links to Literacy, Arrowmount School for Arts and Crafts, and other various Pi Phi sponsored philanthropies, Pie with the Pi Phis is on of the top Greek social events of the year. Who doesn’t like all you can eat desserts?!

Pi Phis at Philanthropies
We love participating in other fraternity and sorority philanthropic events. Whether it is synchronized swimming, powder puff football, or poker tournaments, we show support for the Greek community and the philanthropies they support! View Gallery »
Mixers
Pi Phis are no strangers to the rest of the Greek community. We have fun with other Greek chapters through our numerous mixers throughout the year. A highlight this year was the Monmouth Duo date party with Kappa Kappa Gamma. Both our sororities were founded at Monmouth College and we decided to celebrate our common heritage flappers and gangster style! We danced the night away at the Malibu Beach Club, in true 1920’s fashion.

Formals
Formals are always a highlight of the year! We have one formal a semester where we dance the night away at locations such as: The LA Zoo, on a yacht in Marina Del Rey, the Le Merigot hotel in Santa Monica, and more! Pi Phi formals are definitely unforgettable and FUN!

Songfest
“Tall Tales” was the theme of this year’s Songfest, a musical and theatrical competition that Pepperdine organizations take part in! We paired with the Sig Ep’s to write, direct and choreograph our musical, “The Legend of Annie Oakley.” Songfest is always a crazy two weeks of sleepless nights, lots of fun, and award winning performances. Founder's Day
Every year we celebrate our common Pi Phi heritage and traditions with other chapters from southern California. It’s a great luncheon to see Pi Phis from all generations, and to hear updates on what other chapters are doing.

Spring Retreat
Our spring retreat is the one time a year where we all get to sleep under one roof. It is the most massive sleepover you could ever imagine, filled with food, games, pillow talks and so much laughter. It is definitely a highlight of the year and a great time to bond before summer separates us. View Gallery »
Pledging and Initiation
Through our new member process our new additions get to know not only each other, but the Greek community as well. We make sure our new members are involved in mixers, sisterhood activities and other great bonding experiences. Our Pi Phi year really kicks off during Initiation. We hold Initiation at a Pi Phi house in Southern California. Initiation is complete with ceremonies, a sisterhood tea, and the award of the coveted pi phi letters. View Gallery »
Mom's weekend
There’s nothing like riding a bike in Venice, going to Duke’s or shopping in Santa Monica with you mom. Pi Phi moms come from near and far to spend some quality with their ‘angel’ daughters while getting to know the girls in the sorority and their moms.

Pi Phis and The Pepperdine Volunteer Center
Pi Phi has a huge heart for service. We are greatly involved with The Pepperdine Volunteer Center throughout the year, participating in events such as the Senior Ball, Project Serve, and Step Forward Day. View Gallery »
Overseas Angels
From Switzerland to Buenos Aires, London, Heidelberg, and Florece, Pi Phis take on the world! Whether traveling together through Europe or South America or receiving a care package from the Malibu Pi Phis, there is no distanced that can separate the bonds of sisterhood. View Gallery »
Big Sis/Lil Sis
Sisterhood is what Pi Phi is all about. As soon as a new member is initiated their Big Sis is revealed. Big Sises take care of their Lil Sises; spoiling them with presents and helping them transition into the chapter. The Big Sis/Lil Sis bond is a relationship that is cherished for life!
